This is the second painting I did of Cascade mountain in Banff, Alberta. I love how different the lighting can change during a sunset. As the sun sunk down behind the mountains I watched the light move from peak to peak. This is the very last moment of light from that day. (12 minutes later than #1). Painted after a trip to Banff on February 22nd, 2024.
