A view of the Burrard bridge from Granville Island. It’s only 4 days into April and already I’ve been fooled by the sky twice! It was so cloudy and dull I thought I’d paint the bridge instead of the sunset, then out of nowhere during the last few minutes of painting, bam. A fantastic sunset. The light is so fleeting. I would do anything to pause time to capture that light en pleinair.
Painted as part of PleinAirpril challenege 2024, where I painted outside every day for the whole of April.
